Love and Lust First Edition Art Book
Love & Lust is 16.5 x 10 inch coffee table photobook photographed creative directed and designed by me, Chris Paul Thompson. Love & Lust was printed in Los Angeles in a batch of 100, hand numbered books. Thanks to my kickstarter backers I am able to offers this limited run of hard cover extra large photo books.
The photos depict the rawest forms of beauty and simplicity. Rooted in a personal project, I sought to create photos that highlight and showcase the beauty of black women and other women of color. Over the course of 5 years, I created thousands of photos with the intent of each capturing the mind of the viewer and arousing a reaction. I curated this collection and initially showed photos in Los Angeles and NYC as my first solo art exhibitions. In the year since my show I’ve added several new never seen before photos to share in this book.
